Sales/Marketing

Charity Lawson has an extensive background in Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. She provides personalized service from start to finish. After visiting with her clients she walks them through the process discussing color options, stone selection, fixture selections and helps with the layout of the project. By the time your project is complete you will be part of the “Stonesmiths” family!

Office Manager

Janis Lawson has an extensive background in customer service and will be happy to assist you in any way she can throughout the process. She works directly with you, your builder or project manager to schedule your project and will ensure the job moves through the process as smoothly as possible. As our client, you will have one on one contact with her to answer any questions you may have and she works very hard to work within your schedule to help your project move along quickly!

Laser Templator

Matt Spannan has been working in the stone industry for about 5 years. He started in the shop as a fabricator then moved to installations. Now, Matt is our expert in utilizing the Laser Template System to ensure exact measurements and a proper fit of all your counter top needs. When he arrives at your home he will discuss the layout of your project and go over all pertinent details that would relate to the installation of your surface. As he returns to the office and does a print out of your project we are then able to invite you back in to our shop to discuss a “slab layout” to ensure that all details of the stone are in the exact area you wish so you and your family can fully enjoy the beauty of your selection.

Shop Manager

Gary VanSkyke is a skilled craftsman when it comes to solid surface fabrication. With many years’ experience behind him he provides quality finishes that are difficult to duplicate. One of his goals is to ensure only quality work is being installed in our clients home or businesses by thoroughly inspecting the completed job before it leaves the shop.

Saw Operator

Mark Bluemle has been operating the saw for the majority of his time at Stonesmiths, Inc. Using the layout from our laser template system he is able to make the cuts as exact as your cabinets to ensure a proper fit for the installation process.

Our Top Notch Installers

Josh Melick has been a huge asset to Stonesmiths, Inc. for the past 5 years. He has experience with every aspect of the company from working with a rough slab of granite and taking it to the gorgeous finished product to installing it in your home.

Jon Reynolds has been with the company for 2 years during that time he has taken every opportunity to learn how to do quality installations which has gained him a “lead” installer position within the company. His knowledge and experience with the installation of solid surface counter tops along with his passion for building cabinets allows our customers to be confident that the choice to go with our company will result in quality work.

Install/Fabrication Helpers

Tim VanSkyke has been in the solid surface industry for about 5 years and within the last year joined the Stonesmiths, Inc. team. We are very pleased to have his experience not only in the fabrication process but also able to help with the installations of the surfaces.

Jacob Bixby recently joined the team and is learning both the fabrication as well as the installation side of the business. He is extremely hard working and we look forward to having him on board for years to come!
